Music and play. These two activities have defined my life. For many years I taught, directed choirs and drama groups. I feel fortunate to have had unquestionably valuable art forms shaping my daily life.
Today I work with children from difficult backgrounds and I take with me the playfulness, the music, the many experiences I have had with my students over the years. I also work as a mediator because I believe in human communication, a gentle form of conflict resolution.
The quality and nature of our human relationships determines the kind of world we live in or want to live in. Drama is an excellent tool for this. It helps us to release tensions, it helps us to reflect and to experience, almost imperceptibly, a sense of belonging, the beauty of identities, the discovery of differences, the tangled mix of which can help us to map ourselves. I experienced this in dozens of drama education workshops during my three years as an actor-drama teacher with the Open Circle Association. During my secondary school years I directed several shows and participated in various projects with my students. I joined the Drámakommandó Association in 2020.
